Applications are invited from performing arts practitioners, academicians, experts, researchers interested to attend a workshop as observers in Delhi from 15 to 21 March 2017, on basics of the Marga Natya – a research reconstruction of the ancient Indian system of presenting Natya of Bharata Muni’s tradition, mentioned in Natyashashtra. The applicant must have a basic knowledge of music and dance practices.
The full-day workshop, to be conducted by Shri Piyal Bhattacharya, is being organized in Meghdoot Theatre III, Rabindra Bhawan, Feroze Shah Road, New Delhi 110 001.
A maximum of 20 observers will be selected out of which 10 from Delhi/NCR and rest of the 10 from outside Delhi. Interested persons from north-eastern states will be given preference from the outstation candidates. Final decision in this regard will be that of the Workshop Director Piyal Bhattacharya.
