Amitesh Grover, born 7 July 1980, graduated in Economics (Honours) from Delhi
University. He obtained a diploma in Theatre Direction from the National School of
Drama, New Delhi, and MFA in Performing Arts from the University of Arts, London,
Amitesh has been associated with different national and international projects in design and direction. His prominent plays include Death and the Maiden (for Film and Television Institute of India, Pune), The National Highway (for National School of Drama, Delhi), A Chess Player (for National Centre for the Performing Arts, Mumbai), and the Memorable Equinox for British Council, Delhi.
He received the Artist Residency Grant, Switzerland and Charles Wallace Scholarship for Performance Arts, U.K. Presently, he is a member of the visiting faculty at the National School of Drama, Delhi.
