Suyog Kundalkar



Shri Suyog Subhash Kundalkar was born in a family of musicians on 31 August 1979 at Pune, Maharashtra. He received his initial training in music from Shrimati Ranjana Godse, and is at present receiving advanced training under Shri Arvind Thatte. Suyog also learnt vocal music from Shri Suhas Datar. An approved artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan, he has performed in many prestigious music festivals in India and abroad as a soloist, as well as an accompanist to many eminent artists. He has received many awards including the Dattopant Deshpande Award given at the Sawai Gandharva Music Festival in 2000, and the Ranjana Godse Smruti Award given by the Godse Violin Academy in 2009. He has many recordings to his credit.
Shri Suyog Subhash Kundalkar is awarded the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar of Sangeet Natak Akademi for the year 2010 for his talent in the field of Hindustani Instrumental Music.
