Namrata Pamnani

Born on 25 November 1980 in Delhi, Shrimati Namrata Pamnani received her training in Kathak under Bharati Gupta and Jaikishan Maharaj at Kathak Kendra, New Delhi. She has also studied Hindustani music and obtained a diploma from Prayag Samiti. She is the recipient of a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and a Fellowship from Sanskriti Foundation.
She has performed extensively in various dance festivals including Kathak Mahotsava, Konark Festival, Pandit Lacchu Maharaj Utsav, Natya Vriksha Festival, Taj Mahotsava, Kathak Yatra, Kalakshetra Festival, and Nritya Pratibha. She has also travelled to U.S.A., France, Switzerland, Finland, South Korea, Russia, Germany, and Sri Lanka for her performances.
Shrimati Namrata joined the Kathak Kendra Repertory as a dancer in 2007 and travelled extensively with the group within the country and abroad to perform in various dance festivals.
Shrimati Namrata Pamnani is awarded the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar of Sangeet Natak Akademi for the year 2011 for her notable talent in the field of Kathak dance.
