Shrimati Deepalaxmi Moghe was born on 18 October, 1976 in Mapusa, Goa.
She has obtained Bachelor's Degree in fine Arts and Education and Masters
Degree in English. She has worked as a resource person for the language
development skill project for the Department of Education.
Shrimati Deepalaxmi Moghe has been actively associated with theatre for the past two decades. She has worked with some of the most renowned Goan directors. She has acted in English, Marathi, Konkani and Hindi plays and also played Prominent roles in a number of Plays including Shakespeare's Othello Directed by Jeevan Mayekar (1996), Natasamrat directed by V.V. Shirwadkar, Lights out by Manjula Padmanabhan, Medea directed by Sadhanand Rege, Mahesh Elkunchwar's Sonata directed by Prasad Gurav, Badal Sircar's Saari Raat in Hindi, directed by Narayan Khanade. She has also represented Goa at the International Theatre Festival 2015 held in Colombo, Sri Lanka where she did a Solo performance title Soul Solo directed by Vidyanidhivanarase. Along with theatre, she has also acted in Short films and feature films.
Shrimati Deepalaxmi Moghe has been felicitated by many institutions including the Kala Academy, Goa for her performances.
Shrimati Deepalaxmi Moghe is awarded the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar of Sangeet Natak Akademi for the year 2015 for her notable talent in the field of theatre acting.
